For those seeking solitude. Smaller, quieter campground with stunning sunrise views. Sites are more spread out among cholla cactus gardens. Vault toilets only, no water. Perfect for stargazing with minimal light pollution.
Black Rock Campground

Rock climbing central. Surrounded by massive rock formations and climbing routes. Smaller sites better suited for Class C RVs. Very popular with climbers, so book extra early. Vault toilets, no water.

Sonoran Desert experience. Southern entrance with different desert vegetation including cholla cactus and ocotillo. Less crowded than northern campgrounds. Flush toilets and potable water. Good base for Cottonwood Springs hikes.
